Chasku seeds, also known as Cassia absus or Jasmeejaz, are small, black seeds from a plant native to India and other tropical regions. They are traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine for a variety of ailments.

Medicinal Properties and Traditional Uses:

· Eye Health: The name "Chaksu" (meaning "eye" in Sanskrit) reflects the seed's traditional use for treating eye ailments like conjunctivitis and trachoma.

· Digestive Issues: Chasku seeds are used to relieve constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, and other digestive problems.

· Respiratory Issues: They are traditionally used for bronchitis, asthma, and coughs.

· Skin Conditions: Chasku seeds are used to treat skin diseases, wounds, and sores.

· Other Uses: They are also used for liver and kidney health, urinary bladder problems, and to relieve hemorrhoids and venereal ulcers.

How to Use:

· Powder: Chaksu seeds are commonly ground into powder and taken in doses of 3-6 grams, three times a day, according to The Times of India

· Water Decoction: A water decoction can be prepared and used to treat intestinal bleeding and support bowel function.

· Wound Care: Chasku seeds are also used topically to treat wounds and sores.

Important Note: While Chasku seeds have a long history of traditional use, it's crucial to consult with a healthcare professional before using them, especially if you have any underlying health conditions or are taking medication
